THE DAY SKELETONS CAME ALIVE.

Do this when a situation seems hopeless

Close your eyes.

Picture yourself looking at a vast expanse of land filled with thousands of dry bones- leftovers from people, long dead.💀

Suddenly, you hear a thundering, rattling noise— the thousands of bones have suddenly begun moving and they attach themselves forming thousands of complete skeletons.

Next, muscles and flesh form over the bones. Then skin forms to cover their bodies. Finally, a mighty Wind blows and fills them with breath.🌪️

The bones-turned-human open their eyes😳. They are alive! A great army!

What you've just imagined isn't a mere figment of imagination— it happened. Check out Ezekiel 37:1-14, if you're unfamiliar with the story.

The Valley of Dry Bones is a powerful picture of God’s Power in the face of the impossible.

It’s like the more hopeless a situation seems to us, the more God desires to show us that nothing is impossible for Him.

What we fear becomes a lie, and loses its power over us, when brought before God’s power & love to deliver us from what seems like a dead-end (Isaiah 43:1-5 MSG)

What’s that thing that makes you feel afraid or hopeless?

Or that makes you think, "can any life come out of this dead situation?", "Will I ever get out of this— is there light at the end of this tunnel? Is all hope lost?"

Do what Ezekiel did in the Valley of Dry Bones.

Speak a prophetic message to these bones (dead situation) and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! (Ezekiel 37:4 NLT)

In other words, say to the situation what God is saying about it.

And you may be wondering, "how do I know what God is saying about it?"

Simple. Go to Him, just as you will go to your Dad if you needed some help or advice.🙏🏼

*Stay with Him,* through worship, prayer and diving into the Bible, as often as you can— and you'll receive His thoughts on the situation, or some scripture(s) in the Bible or an instruction. (John 10:1-4)🤲

*When you get His word on the situation, do whatever it says.*

*And keep declaring that word over that situation, as a done deal, until it becomes a reality*— until the situation becomes what you are prophesying.🗣️🗣️

Remember, if Ezekiel didn't speak to the dry bones they will have remained as they were- dead.💀

_Same way, if we do not *consistently* speak God's word to the impossible situations in our lives, *or generally to any situation we want to see improvement in*, they may remain stagnant, lifeless, impossible or may not flourish as they ought to._

However, when we speak God's word to those situations we give God permission to step into them and breathe His Spirit into what is dead, bringing it to life, causing it to flourish and making a way where there was none.

So go ahead, speak some dry bones to life. *Give life to what is dead.*🗣️🔥
