A Simple Way To Change Your Children’s Mindset

Do you struggle with teaching your children or students to think, feel and act in a certain way?

Or perhaps to imbibe some positive mindsets or habits, like studying everyday, being respectful, good self esteem, staying positive or not giving up easily?

The missing link may be they aren't practicing positive affirmations.

Positive affirmations are positive phrases or statements that we repeat to ourselves. They are often used to challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts and to manifest the goals, dreams, or experiences we desire.

Affirmations are a great way to help children develop a positive mindset of positivity and success.

Children are like clay. You can mold them in the way you wish them to be. Positive affirmations compel the brain to think differently, which, in turn, brings about positive changes in the child.

Affirmations work best when they are practiced and repeated consistently.

Consistently saying affirmations will help the statements they are saying become engrained in their minds, and it will eventually begin to influence their thinking and actions.

Ensure they say it out loud for the next 60 days, for a few minutes each day. The idea is to imbibe the habit of repeating their affirmations daily. It’s said that it takes an average of about 60 days to form a habit.

Once the habit is formed in them, they will likely remember the affirmations even when you don't remind them, and it will begin to influence their thoughts, feelings and actions.

Affirmations are especially powerful and life-changing when you get them from the Bible.

You can apply the power of biblical affirmations to yourself as well, and watch it change you and your circumstances and create new experiences in your life.

Determine the areas you want to see improvement in and create affirmations from the Bible that speak to that area.
