4 Thoughts To Help You Push Through Difficult Times.
How To Keep Reaching for your Goals when you feel like giving up.

Many people fail to succeed because they never try. Others try a few times but give up when they face challenges.

I encourage you to be one of the few who persevere, pushing through challenges until you reach your goals. Here are 4 keys to help you do that:

1. Don’t believe lies: Don’t believe the lie that no matter how hard you try, you can never achieve your God-given goals, or that you will never have what it takes to achieve them.

If God gives you a vision of something, that means it is possible, even if you don’t know how it will happen and regardless of the challenges you face.*
It also means He will provide you with all the resources and people you need to achieve that vision. You just need to trust Him, spend quality time with Him, and follow His leading stage by stage.

2. Don’t let failure define you, instead, let it teach you: Instead of giving up when you fail, learn from failures and use them as opportunities for growth. Analyze what went wrong, *seek advice from those wiser than you,* and use that knowledge to improve your approach next time

3. You have solutions that will ease people’s suffering: I sometimes think of Thomas Edison, who invented the commercially successful design for the light bulb after 2774 attempts. He believed he could make electricity so cheap that even the poor would be able to afford it. And eventually, he succeeded. Imagine If he had given up on the 10th or 100th attempt. The world would likely have suffered darkness for many more years than it should.

God is counting on you and me to achieve the visions and desires He placed in us. He will hold us accountable for the opportunities to bless and positively influence the lives of others that we let slip away.

4. Remember that you won’t be here forever: On days you are complacent about achieving your God-given dreams or you’re about giving up on them, remember your time on earth is very limited. Give those dreams your very best effort while you have breath in your lungs. Don’t carry regrets to the grave.

Those deep longings that God put in your heart are worth chasing, regardless of the challenges you face. Don’t stop pushing until you achieve your God-given dreams.

PLEASE NOTE: The emphasis here is not giving up on your "God-given" dreams. There are many humanly conceived dreams we may have to give up on for valid reasons, and that’s okay.

If you are saying, "What if I don’t have a God-given dream or vision?" You can ask God to give you one. Also, determine to walk closely with Him, through frequently studying the Bible, praying, and worshipping Him. As you do these, He will give you His dreams.
