Unfortunately, too often no one gives us a proper answer to this crucial question.

In a bid to find ourselves and what we can identify with, we often get into all sorts: bad company, wrong role models, drugs, wrong theologies/beliefs, etc.

These things give us a poor sense of identity which could lead to other troubling issues such as a low self-esteem, anxiety, guilt, fear depression, addiction etc.

Identity (Knowing who we are) is such a crucial part of our lives that affects so many other areas. Identity is the foundation upon which we build our lives.
